Im Vorgriff auf die Einzelausstellung mit der luxemburgischen Künstlerin Mary-Audrey Ramirez, die am 14. April 2023 in der Kunsthalle Gießen eröffnet wird, lädt die Wahlberlinerin in Zusammenarbeit mit Künstler Max Kreis zu einer digitalen Ausstellung ein. Im Zentrum des Schaffens stehen bei Ramirez (* 1990) digitale Techniken und Wesen aus Computerspielen.
Max Kreis (*1990) ist ein Multimedia-Künstler, der mit Algorithmen des maschinellen Lernens arbeitet. Er arbeitet hauptsächlich in den Medien Installation und Video und ist überdies für seine Musikvideos mit KI bekannt.
Für den Zeitraum der letzten Umbauphase der Kunsthalle, von Anfang Dezember 2022 bis März 2023, übernehmen nacheinander die Künstler*innen Moises Sanabria, Fabiola Larios, Minne Atairu, Hohloh, Max Kreis und Mary-Audrey Ramirez den Instagram-Account der Kunsthalle. Für die sukzessiv wachsende digitale Ausstellung entwickeln die Künstler*innen NFTs – Non Fungible Tokens – in ihrer jeweiligen künstlerischen Formensprache. Dabei leitet sich der Titel Temporarily Moved von einem Begriff aus dem Internet ab, wenn Webseiten vorübergehend woanders erreichbar sind.

Moises Sanabria (*1990, Caracas, Venezuela) arbeitet interdisziplinär. Sanabria beschäftigt sich mit Trends der Mimetik und des Brandings im Cyberspace. Mit seinen Werken erweitert er die Dialektik der Maschinenphilosophie um den Kontext unseres durch Social-Media vernetzten Lebens. Seine Arbeit ist philosophisch sowie politisch und verknüpft akademische Ästhetik mit der Meme-Kultur des Internets. Seine künstlerische Praxis ist eng mit digitalen Neuerungen verwoben und er nutzt Live-Streaming, Video, neue Medien sowie maschinelles Lernen und Installation, um wissenschaftlichen Fortschritt mit Kunst zu verbinden.
Moises lebt und arbeitet in Miami. Er ist Mitbegründer des neuen Medienkanals für künstliche Intelligenz ‚AI24 Live‘. Zuvor war er von 2011 bis 2019 aktives Mitglied und Mitbegründer des digitalen Kunstkollektivs ‚ART404‘ (Artnotfound). Moises besuchte die ‚School of Poetic Computation‘ und die ‚Cooper Union‘ in New York. Er stellte aus u. a. bei der Transmediale 2k+12; dem Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Berlin; dem Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami; der Bikini Wax Gallery, Mexico City und nahm an internationalen Gruppenausstellungen teil.

Minne Atairu ist eine interdisziplinär arbeitende Künstlerin und Doktorandin an der Columbia University. Mithilfe von Künstlicher Intelligenz (StyleGAN, GPT-3) kombiniert sie historische Fragmente, Skulpturen, Texte, Bilder und Klänge neu, um künstlich generiert Darstellungen von Blackness und Black Culture zu generieren.
Minne Atairu hat u.a. ausgestellt und performt bei den Harvard Art Museums, Boston; dem Markk Museum, Hamburg; der SOAS Brunei Gallery, University of London; der Microscope Gallery, New York und im Fleming Museum of Art, Vermont. Sie ist Trägerin des 2021 Lumen ‚Prize for Art and Technology‘ (Global South Award).

Hohloh (aka Lukas, *1996) erschafft multimediale Installationen, die Themen wie synergetisch-organische Interaktion, die Genese von Flora und Fauna und traumartige Erzählstrukturen untersuchen. Seine Werke enthalten oftmals Elemente des Realen sowie des Irrealen, wodurch die Illusion von räumlicher Verlagerung und Eingebundenheit entsteht.
Seine Arbeiten wurden zuletzt in ‚QTUREA‘ (mit Mary-Audrey Ramirez) im TRAUMABARUNDKINO, Berlin, im Jahr 2020 ausgestellt. Er lebt und arbeitet in Berlin.

Fabiola Larios (*Mexiko, 1986) ist eine interdisziplinäre Künstlerin, die sich mit der Repräsentation des Selbst im Internet, der Verletzlichkeit von personenbezogenen Daten und unserem digitalen Fußabdruck beschäftigt. Dabei nimmt sie das Thema ‚Überwachung‘ mit digitalen und physischen Objekten in den Blick. Zudem nimmt sie am Programm des Knight Foundation Art + Research Center (Forschungsabteilung des Institute of Contemporary Art Miami) teil.
Larios ist Teil der von Luba Elliot kuratierten ‚AI Art Gallery of NeurIPS2020‘ (Neural Information Processing Systems). Die Künstlerin gab Workshops am ‚Digital Culture Center‘ (CCD Centro de Cultura Digital in Mexico City) und an der ‚School of Machines Make Believe‘ in Berlin. Sie nahm teil an der ‚Generation junger Schöpfer 2021‘ des ‚Nationalen Fonds für Kultur und Künste‘ in Mexiko und an der ersten Lateinamerikanischen Biennale für Künstliche Intelligenz, ‚Planetary Atoll: Connecting Latin American Dots‘ in der Galerie PANKE. Im Jahr 2022 präsentiert sie mit ‚Lonely Rocks/Perpetual Art Fair‘ eine Performance, die KI-Kunst erschafft.

Max Kreis (*1990) ist ein Multimedia-Künstler, der sich mit Algorithmen des maschinellen Lernens auseinandersetzt. Er arbeitet vor allem mit den Medien Installation und Video und ist für Musikvideos mit Künstlicher Intelligenz bekannt.

In anticipation of her solo exhibition opening on the 14th April 2023 at the Kunsthalle Giessen, the by choice Berlin-based artist from Luxembourg, Mary-Audrey Ramirez, invites the public to a digital exhibition in collaboration with artist Max Kreis. Ramirez's (* 1990) work centers around digital techniques and creatures from computer games.
Max Kreis (*1990) is a multimedia artist who works with machine learning algorithms. Working mainly in the media of installation and video, he is also known for his music videos made with AI.
From December 2022 to March 2023, during the final phase of the Kunsthalle's renovation, the artists Moises Sanabria, Fabiola Larios, Minne Atairu, Hohloh, Max Kreis, and Mary-Audrey Ramirez will consecutively take over the Kunsthalle's Instagram account. The artists will develop NFTs – Non Fungible Tokens – in their respective artistic languages as part of the successively evolving, digital exhibition. The title Temporarily Moved borrows from an Internet term for when websites are temporarily accessible elsewhere.

Moises Sanabria (*1990, Caracas, Venezuela) is an interdisciplinary artist. His work extends dialectics of machine philosophy alongside trend sin memetics and branding through the context of networked social-medialife. Moises' work is philosophical and political, joining academic aesthetics with internet meme cultures. His practice is deeply entangled with digital newness, using live-streaming, video, new media, machine learning, and installation to further connect the advancement of science with art.
Moises lives and works in Miami. He co-founded the new artificial intelligence media channel ‘AI24 Live‘. Previously, he was an activ emember and co-founder of the digital art collective ‘ART404‘ (Artnotfound) from 2011 to 2019. Moises attended the ‘School of Poetic Computation‘and the ‘Cooper Union‘ in New York. He has exhibited at ‘Transmediale2k+12‘; Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Berlin; Institute of Contemporary Art,Miami; Bikini Wax Gallery, Mexico City; and has participated in international group exhibitions.

Minne Atairu is an interdisciplinary artist, and doctoral candidate at Columbia University. Through the use of Artificial Intelligence (StyleGAN, GPT-3), she recombines historical fragments, sculptures, texts, images andsounds to generate synthetic depictions of Blackness and Black Culture.

Hohloh (aka Lukas, *1996) creates multi-media installations that explore themes like synergetic organic interactions, the genesis of flora and fauna and dreamlike narrative structures. His work often contains elements of both the real and unreal, creating illusions of dislocation and involvement.
His work has been exhibited most recently in QTUREA (with Mary-AudreyRamirez) at TRAUMABARUNDKINO, Berlin in 2020. He lives and works in Berlin.

Fabiola Larios (*Mexico, 1986) is an interdisciplinary artist, who deals with the representation of the self on the Internet, the vulnerability of personal data, and our digital footprint focusing on surveillance with digital and physical objects. She also participates in a program at the ‘Knight Foundation Art +Research Center’ (Research Department of the Institute of Contemporary Art Miami).
Fabiola Larios is part of the ‘AI Art Gallery of NeurIPS2020‘
(NeuralInformation Processing Systems) curated by Luba Elliot. She has taught workshops at the ‘Digital Culture Center‘ (CCD Centro de Cultura Digitalin Mexico City) and at ‘School of Machines Make Believe‘ in Berlin. She took part in the 2021 ‘Generation of Young Creators‘ of the ‚National Fund for Culture and the Arts‘ in Mexico, participated in the first Latin American Bienal of Artificial Intelligence ‘Planetary Atoll: Connecting Latin American Dots‘ in PANKE Gallery. In 2022, she presented a performance creating AI Art at ‘Untitled Art Fair‘, through ‘Lonely Rocks/Perpetual Art‘.

Max Kreis (*1990) is a multimedia artist working with machine learning algorithms. He mostly works in the mediums of installation and video and is known for doing music videos with AI.
