TraCe
The panel discussion at the Kunsthalle will examine representations of excessive violence in reporting, art and social media and combine perspectives from academia and practice. To this end, we want to bring together perspectives from the research centre “Transformations of Political Violence” (TraCe) as well as from journalism, war photography and exhibition practice. In this German-language “dialogue panel”, we want to discuss the visual representation of excessive violence in various media contexts and, above all, the limits of what can be shown. It will also be available to watch on YouTube via a professional livestream.
